• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers offered by the American Heart Association or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer offered by the Red Cross received within 30 days from date of hire.

A successful hospital Respiratory Therapist-RRT candidate will offer the following qualifications:
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Required didactic and clinical experience in all populations.
• Must be registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) at the time of application or is registry eligible as defined by the NBRC. New hires must obtain registry (RRT) within established guidelines dependent upon employee’s graduation and hire date (within 9 months of employment).
• Must meet eligibility requirements for a Respiratory Therapist (RT) license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts at the time of employment application. State licensure must be obtained prior to the date of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers offered by the American Heart Association or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer offered by the Red Cross within 30 days post date of hire.
• Current PALS, NRP as required by practice setting.
A successful Home Medical Respiratory

A successful Home Medical candidate will offer the following qualifications:
• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Care
• R
equired didactic and clinical experience in all patient populations required by date of hire
• Two years of hospital critical care experience preferred
• Home care experience preferred
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 45 daysof hire date or job transfer date
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
